Philadelphia – One of the nation’s premier layoff aversion programs, the Strategic Early Warning Network (SEWN), today announced that it has set up operations in the Philadelphia area and is immediately working with area companies to keep jobs and encourage investment in the Delaware Valley.
The SEWN program, funded by the Commonwealth’s Department and Labor and Industry, offers technical assistance and restructuring strategies to firms, largely in manufacturing, that are struggling to recover from economic downturns, distressed labor and capital markets and the impact of domestic production being offshored.
