SVA Celebrates 40 Years!

The Steel Valley Authority was established in 1985 as a result of deindustrialization in the Pittsburgh region. Over the years we have grown to provide our services across not only Pennsylvania but nationally to save jobs, build communities, and contribute to economic growth.

In celebration of these accomplishments, we're hosting a 40th Anniversary celebration on Thursday, September 11, 2025 for a Night of Reflection. Speakers will include some of our founding members, an award for community service, and the establishment of a trade school scholarship.
